" Joint Warrior 2018 " RAF Lossiemouth
Joint Warrior is a UK-led multinational exercise involving aerial, naval and terrestrial assets from allied nations in the world. Traditionally there are two exercises during the year, the first one in March/April and second one in October, but this year only one was planned and it took place between April 23 and May 3. The 2018 edition, with more than 11,000 military personnel from 17 nations involved, can be considered the largest exercise of the year in UK. Aerial assets were deployed at several locations, but as usual, all maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft were hosted at RAF Lossiemouth, Scotland. Thursday 3rd of May , as TimeLine Event participant, I had an opportunity to get access at RAF Lossiemouth and document from beautiful locations the activity in the Joint Warrior ramp and II(AC) Sqn shelters area.
