Ritorna

2011  -  "Triple Nickel" come back home from Afghanistan

Tuesday, October 18, “Triple Nickel” came back home after six month of deployment at Afghanistan. The green stripe F-16s arrived with different formation and landed early in the afternoon. The first Fighting Falcon on touching the Pagliano and Gori runway 05 was the Fighting Falcon of the 555th Fighter Squadron Commander, Lt. Col. Karl D. “Buzz” Ingeman.
Waiting for the pilots at the border of the parking area there were wives, girlfriends, sons and daughters, friends and co-workers for a warm welcoming committee to these men who have been away from home to serve their country. Party ends at the bar of the squadron with inevitable pizza, delicious cakes and drinks.
