Il Gonfalone della Provincia di Pordenone, seguito dagli altri Gonfaloni e Labari, nonche’ dal Comandante del CFC, accompagnato dal Comandante uscente ed infine la “Honor Guard” lasciano il luogo della Cerimonia.
L’ Aviano AB Aviation Friends Group (AAFG) ringrazia il Comandante uscente Col. Salvatore La Luce per aver citato nel discorso di commiato, la collaborazione ed amicizia del nostro gruppo Aviano Ab Aviation Friends Group (AAFG) con le Istituzioni Militari della Base di Aviano.
Il Col. Salvatore La Luce appartiene al Corso Turbine IV, dopo il brevetto di Pilota Militare negli States, viene assegnato al 14° Stormo e 71° Gruppo di Volo a Pratica di Mare. In seguito viene assegnato alla NATO Airborne Early Warning Component con velivoli E-3A AWACS svolgendo vari incarichi e missioni all’ estero. Rientrato in Italia assume il Comando del 204° Gruppo Volo a Pratica di Mare, per poi ricopre vari incarichi all’ interno della Forza Armata e frequentare vari corsi.
Il Col. La Luce ha all’ attivo oltre 3000 ore di volo.
Il Col. Giuseppe GATTO appartiene al Corso Urano IV, dopo il brevetto di Navigatore Militare negli States, viene assegnato al 155° Gruppo Volo del 50° Stormo su Tornado ECR e dopo aver ricoperto vari incarichi, ne diventa il Comandante di Gruppo pero’ a Ghedi, nuova sede del 155° Gruppo Volo. In seguito ricopre un’ incarico al 6° Stormo, poi trasferito presso il Comando Operazioni Aerospaziali a Poggio Renatico con vari incarichi e frequentando vari Corsi.
Il Col. Gatto ha partecipato varie Operazioni reali, quali ISAF presso l’ HQ di Kabul, Odyssey Dawn ed Unified Protector in Libia ed Operazione Inherent Resolve in Iraq entrambe come equipaggio di volo ed incarichi nell’ Operazione Inherent Resolve ad Al Udeid.
Il Col GATTO e’ navigatore con al Suo attivo circa 2400 ore di volo su velivoli SF-260, MB-339, T-34, T-39, T-2, Tornado IDS ed ECR.

The Gonfalon of the Province of Pordenone, followed by the other Gonfalons and Labars, as well as the Commander of the CFC, accompanied by the outgoing Commander and finally the "Honor Guard" leave the venue of the Ceremony.
The Aviano AB Aviation Friends Group (AAFG) thanks the outgoing Commander, Col. Salvatore La Luce, for mentioning our Aviano Ab Aviations Friends Group (AAFG) group's collaboration and friendship with the military institutions at the Aviano Base in his farewell speech.
Col. Salvatore La Luce belongs to the Turbine IV Course, after obtaining his Military Pilot's license in the States, he was assigned to the 14th Wing and 71st Flight Group in Pratica di Mare. He was subsequently assigned to the NATO Airborne Early Warning Component with E-3A AWACS aircraft, carrying out various tasks and missions abroad. Upon returning to Italy, he took over command of the 204th Flight Group in Pratica di Mare, and then held various positions within the Armed Forces and attended various courses.
Col. La Luce has over 3,000 flight hours under his belt.
Col. Giuseppe GATTO belongs to the Urano IV Course, after obtaining his Military Navigator qualification in the States, he was assigned to the 155th Flight Group of the 50th Wing on Tornado ECRs and after holding various positions, he became the Group Commander, however in Ghedi, the new headquarters of the 155th Flight Group. He subsequently held a position at the 6th Wing, then transferred to the Aerospace Operations Command in Poggio Renatico with various assignments and attending various courses.
Col. Gatto has participated in various real operations, such as ISAF at the HQ in Kabul, Odyssey Dawn and Unified Protector in Libya and Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq, both as a flight crew and assigned to Operation Inherent Resolve in Al Udeid.
Col. GATTO is a navigator with approximately 2,400 flight hours on SF-260, MB-339, T-34, T-39, T-2, Tornado IDS and ECR aircrafts.
