Cambio Comando al 555th Fighter Squadron - 2012

La Cerimonia di Cambio di Comando del 555th Fighter Squadron ha avuto luogo lunedì pomeriggio 25 giugno 2012 presso la Zulu Aerea dell’Aeroporto Pagliano e Gori  di Aviano. Il Tenente Colonnello  Karl D. Ingeman ha restituito il comando al Colonnello David W. Walker, Comandante del 31st Gruppo Operazioni, e il Tenente Colonnello  John C. Peterson ha assunto il comando del “Triple Nickel” dal Colonnello Walker. Il Tenente Colonnello  John C. Peterson svolgeva il compito di Direttore delle Operazioni al 555th Fighter Squadron, e prima della posizione di Direttore delle Operazioni, è stato nello staff che definisce i requisiti per l’F-35 Joint Strike Fighter e i programmi Combat Identification presso il Quartier Generale dell’Air Force Directorate of Operational Requirements. Il Tenente Colonnello  John C. Peterson  è pilota comandante con più di 2400 ore di volo su velivoli F-16C/D, T-38 e T-37, e ha più di 760 ore in missioni di combattimento.                                                                                                                                                         Renzo Del Bianco

2012 - Change of Command at 555th Fighter Squadron

The 555th Fighter Squadron Change of Command Ceremony took place Monday afternoon 25th of June 2012 in the Zulu Loop at Aviano AB. The Lieutenant Colonel Karl D. Ingeman relinquished command to Colonel David W. Walker, and Lieutenant Colonel John C. Peterson assumed command of the “Triple Nickel” unit from 31st Operations Group Commander. Lieutenant Colonel John C. Peterson has been serving as Director of Operations for the 555th Fighter Squadron, and prior the position of Director of Operations  served as a staff officer establishing requirements for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and Combat Identification Programs at Headquarters Air Force Directorate of Operational Requirements. Lieutenant Colonel John C. Peterson is command pilot with more than 2400 flying hours in F-16C/D, T-38 and T-37 aircraft, and he has more than 760 combat hours.
